Olmert to Ashkelon: Get used to rockets

ולמרט באשקלון: אין דרך למנוע ירי גראד

Unbelievable. He is failing in his most basic responsibility, to provide security to the citizens of Israel. How can the government just accept the fact that missiles are falling on a major city? If he and his government refuse to provide security then they should go home and let someone else try. The disengagement which he was an ardent supporter of is a good part of why this is happening.

There are over 500 talkbacks on this article and the overwhelming majority are very critical. I can't see how Olmert can stay in power much longer.

Because the average person is getting fed up. That article had over 550 talkbacks and almost everyone was anti-Olmert. People are waking up and realizing what a disaster Olmert is.

Who cares about the average person? There is a rule of law in Israel and the rule is that he gets to make the laws until the next election or until he loses his majority. As long as Shas and Labour prop him up, it doesn't matter if his popularity rating drops below 1%. He's the prime minister, has no shame about how he's hurting his country and will be able to keep doing what he wants.
